Women on Wednesdays Art and Culture
The Women on Wednesdays Art and Culture Project was co-produced by Ocean Ana Rising, Betty’s Daughter Arts Collaborative, and the Brecht Forum NYC. Each Wednesday in the month of February, from 7pm to 11pm, featured the phenomenal expressions of women of the African Diaspora in poetry/spoken word, dance, music, song, video, and theater arts.
The Women on Wednesdays Arts and Culture Project also included a Teach-In and Healing Cypher for Cultural Workers and facilitated arts residencies with young emerging artists in partnership with allied community organizations.
